Antimicrobial Magic: Banishing Viruses and Parasites for Good

Have you ever felt like you are doing "all the right things" but your body still feels like it’s dragging a heavy weight? You’re eating the greens, you’re getting the sleep, yet your digestion is still "off," your brain feels foggy, and you just can't shake that feeling of being... well, clogged up.

I believe there is ALWAYS a reason for this! Your body is a finely tuned instrument, and when it starts playing out of tune, it’s usually because there is an uninvited guest (or a whole party of them) disrupting the harmony. We are talking about the unseen world of viruses, bacteria, fungus, and those especially sneaky critters: parasites.

At Bring Us Back to Nature, I am obsessed with finding the ROOT CAUSE of why you don’t feel like the most vibrant version of YOURSELF.  I often find that we need to start with clearing out the house guests that have been in your body for longer than you asked for.

In most other countries in the world, they regularly do "parasite" cleanses where they intentionally rid there body of unwanted microbes. Other cultures also have strong spices that naturally kill microbes like curry, garlic, ginger, and Wasabi.  In American food, we are severely lacking in consistent, antimicrobial herbs and spices and our regular medical practices do not include regular microbial cleanses.  And we are the fattest and sickest in the world....

Most of the time, the "pesky infections" that cause poor digestive outcomes and low energy are hiding in plain sight. They are hanging out in your gut, your blood, and your tissues, stealing your nutrients and leaving behind their waste.

It sounds a little "ugly" at first, doesn't it? But don't worry: I want to show you how we can use the incredible power of herbal medicine to clear out the clutter and bring your body back to its natural, pristine state!

Why Are These "Guests" Still Here?

I want to ask you a question: Why does one person get sick while another stays healthy in the same environment? It’s all about the "terrain." If your internal environment is stagnant or stressed, it becomes a perfect breeding ground for things that shouldn't be there.

Scientific, earthy representation of gut dysbiosis (microbial imbalance) with abstract intestinal forms and mixed bacteria/fungi.

When we talk about root cause healing, we aren't just looking to "kill" a bug. We are looking to change the environment so the bugs don't want to live there anymore! However, sometimes the "pot needs a good stir." Sometimes, we need to go in with a gentle but firm "broom" to sweep out the bacteria, fungus, and parasites that have overstayed their welcome.

That is WHY I created the Antimicrobial Herbal Tincture. I wanted a formula that was broad-spectrum: something that doesn't just target one thing, but addresses the whole microbial "party" happening inside.

And yes... I believe it’s a MUST-HAVE for cold and flu season! The kind of thing you keep in your medicine cabinet year-round so you’re ready to avoid, prevent, and treat the “seasonal yuck” the moment it starts creeping in.

I also want you to know it shines during parasite cleanses! When you’re actively clearing out those unwanted critters, having a strong, broad-spectrum herbal ally on board can make the process more effective and much more targeted.

The Botanical Avengers: What’s Inside?

When I formulated this tincture, I chose specific plants that have been used for centuries to defend the body. These aren't just random "weeds"; they are potent, biological powerhouses!

1. Artemisia (Wormwood) This is a heavy hitter when it comes to parasites. I believe Artemisia is one of the most important tools in our herbal kit! It’s bitter and bold (in the best way), and it helps make your gut a place parasites don’t want to live. Not just a quick “kick them out,” but a more root-cause approach—supporting the body as it disrupts the life cycle of organisms that try to set up shop in your digestive tract. Specific “targets” I think of here:malaria, Covid-19intestinal worms, and giardia.

2. Juglans (Black Walnut) Specifically, we use the hull. Black Walnut is a classic for a reason! I use it to help shift the internal “terrain” so yeast, fungus, and parasites have a much harder time hanging on. Think of it like changing the conditions in the house—not just chasing the intruders around. It pairs beautifully with Artemisia to cover more angles and support a more thorough clean-out. Specific Antimicrobial Research on:ringworm, athlete’s foot, yeast infections, and parasites.

3. Berberis (Barberry/Goldenseal) If you’ve ever heard of “berberine,” this is where that bright yellow magic comes from! Berberis is one of my go-tos when we’re trying to calm the chaos in the gut and support a healthier microbial balance. It helps discourage unwanted bacteria and fungus while also supporting digestion at the root (hello, bile flow!). And trust me—when your bile is moving, your body is way better at keeping things clean and clearing out what doesn’t belong. Specific Antimicrobial Research on:H. pylori, E. coli, Candida, Strep, and Staph.

4. Tabebuia (Pau d'Arco) This comes from the inner bark of a massive South American tree. I love Pau d’Arco because it’s a strong ally when we’re dealing with fungus (like Candida) and viral load. It doesn’t just “attack”—it supports your immune system’s ability to do its job while helping clear out that sticky “gunk” that keeps you feeling run down. Specific Antimicrobial Research on:HIV, herpes, the flu, and chronic yeast issues.

5. Echinacea Purpurea We all know Echinacea for the flu, but I want you to think bigger! I use it to help your immune system get organized and responsive—like turning the lights on and handing your white blood cells a game plan. It supports the root-cause process by helping YOUR body recognize what doesn’t belong and move it out, instead of relying on a quick fix. Specific Antimicrobial Research on:flu, colds, and Strep.

6. Achillea (Yarrow) Yarrow is INCREDIBLE for its antimicrobial and antibiofilm properties. (Biofilm is that “slimy shield” microbes can build so they can hide and stick around.) I love yarrow because it helps prevent bacterial attachment in the first place, and it’s a master at wound healing—clearing infection while supporting the tissue to actually repair. Clean it out, then rebuild. That’s the vibe. Specific Antimicrobial Research on:Staph, Proteus, and bacterial biofilms.

7. Usnea (Old Man’s Beard) Usnea is a potent medicinal lichen rich in usnic acid, and it’s a powerhouse against viruses and bacteria. I think of it as a strong, steady ally when your immune system needs backup—especially for respiratory and overall immune health. If you’re feeling that “seasonal yuck” trying to settle into your throat or lungs, this is one of those plants I really respect. Specific Antimicrobial Research on:Strep throat, Staph infections, and respiratory viral bugs.

How to Take the Magic

I want YOU to get the most out of every single drop of this tincture. This isn't like a pill you just swallow and forget. This is a ritual of healing!

The Protocol:

  • Take 1-3 ml (roughly one to three droppers-full).

  • Mix it in a small splash of water.

  • IMPORTANT: Hold it in your mouth for 30 seconds before swallowing!

  • Take 2-4 times a day depending on what you've got going on

WHY do we hold it? Because the tissues in your mouth (the sublingual mucosa) are incredibly absorbent. By holding it there, you are allowing those herbal constituents to enter your bloodstream almost immediately! It also signals to your brain and digestive system that "medicine is coming," preparing your body to receive the healing.

If the taste is a bit "earthy" or bitter: that is OK! Bitterness is actually a signal to your liver to start working. I promise, you get used to it, and your body will start to crave that "cleansing" feeling.

What Happens next?

After we start taking the tincture you can expect things to change within the first few days.  We are clearing out these bugs from your system and they need somewhere to go.  Where you you think that will be?  That's right! One of the best ways out of the body is though the gut and into the toilet.  So you might notice more stool.  Going to the bathroom more than once a day and when you are there you will notice alot more Poop with each bowel movement.  YAY!! You have successfully eliminated these pescky critters from inhabiting your body!!

Reclaiming YOUR Vitality

I believe that you weren't meant to live in a body that feels like a battlefield. I want you to feel light, clear-headed, and energized! Imagine waking up without that heavy "brain fog" or the bloating that makes you want to hide under big sweaters.

By addressing the parasites, bacteria, and viruses that are draining your resources, you are giving your body the space it needs to repair itself. Nature has provided us with every tool we need to stay healthy; we just have to be willing to listen and take action!
